This post is all about supporting local businesses, eating delicious waffles and creating a pretty vintage picnic!  I teamed up with Carré Sucré (means sweet square), a Belgian bakery in Arlington, to help me create an adorable vintage picnic.  Owner, Olivia, grew up in Belgian in a town that is famous for their waffles with caramelized sugar (I’m moving there) and opened her bakery in 2012.  She makes small batches with all natural ingredients to ensure every waffle is just as tasty as being back in her home town. You can learn more about Olivia and her delicious treats here.

I loved doing this photo shoot because almost everything we used is vintage and collected during my travels around the world!

Even the silverware is vintage… it came from my grandmother and is real sterling silverware.  People always say to me “you should only use it on special occasions” but I believe everyday is special, so we use it for every meal!
